How do I keep my pool clean while I'm away for months?
Leave the pool running and serviced, not shut down. Set a full circulation schedule, balance the water before you go, and have someone visiting weekly. A Florida pool left unattended for a season nearly always needs recovery, which costs more than the service would have.
Before you leave
- Balance the water fully, including stabilizer
- Clean the filter so it starts the season clear
- Confirm the timer and auto-fill both work
- Trim back overhanging branches
- Leave a key or gate code and a contact who can authorize repairs
Why remote monitoring is not enough
A sensor can tell you chlorine fell. It cannot brush a wall, empty a basket full of palm debris, or notice that the pump is running dry. Storm season in particular needs eyes on the property.
We text a photo and chemistry log after every visit, so you can see the pool from wherever you are.
